Birgitta Sif was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, and lived in and around Scandinavia and America while growing up. She completed her BFA from Cornell University, New York, and received her masters in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, in the UK. She currently lives in England with her family.
