In the winter forest the owl observes what happens round and round its hole in the apple tree. When spring comes foxes meet and the squirrels leap from branch to branch in the tree. Birds build their nest in the tree and summer is going to start soon! The apples grow and go red, young birds hatch and the tree’s inhabitants dream in the warm summer night.
The first apples are going to fall down soon and the little birds leave the nest. The animals start gathering food in autumn. When the first snowflakes fall, each animal looks for the suitable winter home. The owl keeps sitting in the hole in the apple tree and watches the ice crystals. The forest has become quiet and so it will remain until next spring!
