Pip Bartlett adores animals, especially magical ones. In this respect, it proves advantageous that Pip can talk to unicorns, miniatures silky griffins and hobgrackles. However, her parents and teachers do not believe her, most notably when her talking to magical creatures results in all sorts of chaos. Therefore, due to a unicorn incident (‘Who would have thought that they are so stupid!’), Pip has to spend her summer vacations with her aunt Emma, who is a vet for magical creatures.
Pip is on cloud nine and spends her days with the weirdest creatures of all kinds. But then masses of fuzzles turn up. They look quite cute, but, beware of them! As soon as they get agitated, they burst into flame. Mrs. Dreadbotch from the Supernatural / Magical Animal Care Keeping and Education Department (S.M.A.C.K.E.D.) would love to have the fuzzles quashed. But Pip and her new friend Thomas must prevent her from doing so by all means!
