Candice is asked by her favourite teacher, Miss Bamford, to write a report about her experiences divided into paragraphs from A to Z. Maybe the task gets somehow easier when she starts her report with her first letter to her pen friend Denille in New York. She could also report on her birth, although she has to rely on her parents and Uncle Brian’s reports for this event.
When Candice gets to know her new classmate Douglas Benson, things get even more complicated. Douglas believes he is from another dimension, where his true parents really live. But there are other, even more important things, Candice has to deal with, for example, her parents‘ reconciliation with Uncle Brian. Somehow, Candice will help improve the general level of happiness in the world. She is certainly not short of ideas!
