Looking for a new home below the green meadow, the moles have founded Moletown. More and more molehills appear on the green meadow, some of them even have windows and little chimneys. Although everything looks still quite cosy, more and more moles are busy constructing a real city with trams below the ground.
Everybody lives on his own in his smallish home surrounded by TV sets, telephones and various hi-fi equipment. Hundreds of cars move about in the city polluted by exhaust fumes. Only a tiny grassy spot, carefully fenced in, remains to be seen from the green meadow. May it go on this way?
This book is suitable for children between 4 and 8 years of age.
