In this book you can embark on a journey without leaving your room by means of 52 highly illustrated maps. Capitals‘ names are depicted in various colours and there are 4 icons for further information, f.ex. about the local languages and the surface area of the country or continent. Moreover, with the help of a brown-white number bar you can transfer the size of the countries in kilometres or miles onto each map.
Unlike ordinary maps you will not only learn about cities, rivers and mountains, but also about cultural sights, historic sites, important people, typical animals and plants, dances, traditional costumes, sports, etc. At the book’s very end you will find two spreads full of flags of all countries of the earth.
This book is suitable for readers over 7 years old.
