While preparing for the most boring holidays of all times, something unthinkable happens! Alfie has inherited a real castle, which is situated at the same place where his relatives live. And no other than magician Orin Hopcraft, the castle’s constructor, gave him another special gift when he was born. Alfie is a time traveller, who has been chosen by Orin Hopcraft to be his successor. Together with his cousins Madeleine and Robin, Alfie explores the secret passages, trapdoors and hidden dungeons of Hexbridge Castle.
Alfie is over the moon until he gets to know his uncanny headmistresses Murkle and Snitch. During one of their excursions Alfie, Madeline and Robin are suddenly followed by strange creature with flaming red eyes. Who have these creatures been if they haven’t been birds? Alfie finds the answer to this question faster than he would have liked to and by doing so he gets into extreme danger!
